This is a decommissioned Crouse Hinds taxiway lamp. These are used and the housings show fading in the paint in various areas. All of them look slightly different the pictures show a general condition, each one will vary a bit. The included base is a basic black base. The height of the lamp will vary between 10 and 18 inches.
 
The light will show green for VFR, blue for MVFR, red for IFR, and Violet for LIFR for your selected airport. The brightness is adjustable. In the set up menu. There is also a schedule feature to allow you to have the light turn on and off at a certain time in the day.
 
Wi-Fi is needed for the lamp to function. All the settings will be accessible via Wi-Fi.
 
Not all airports have automated METAR information. You may need to select an airport closest to you.
 
This is a novelty item it is not meant to be used for flight planning.
These are made to order and will take one to two weeks. There are other options for different upgraded bases listed below. The photos show the different types of bases, again only the black basic base is the included one.
